Waiting, Waiting, Waiting... Boulder Equipment delays my order

Let me tell you, the excitement of purchasing a new TYM T224 sub-compact tractor has slowly curdled into a thick soup of disappointment. After weeks of research, I finally pulled the trigger and placed my order with Boulder Equipment, a dealership conveniently located near Olympia, Washington. I envisioned tackling my property maintenance with newfound efficiency, that satisfying rumble of the diesel engine already echoing in my mind.
Fast forward to the present, and my shiny new tractor is apparently still basking in the sun on their lot. Why? Because, I was recently informed, the delivery is going to take almost a month. A month! That's an eternity when you're itching to get started on projects.
Now, I understand things happen. I was told they are currently understaffed, and I can certainly empathize with the challenges that come with that. However, what truly grinds my gears is the lack of transparency upfront. Had I known about this significant delay at the time of purchase, I honestly would have explored other options. Knowing my tractor is sitting idle while the owner is reportedly on vacation only adds insult to injury.
It feels incredibly frustrating to have made a significant investment only to be left waiting indefinitely. The anticipation has been replaced by a growing sense of being misled. A simple heads-up about potential delivery delays would have allowed me to make an informed decision. Instead, here I am, twiddling my thumbs while my brand new piece of equipment gathers dust miles away.
This experience has definitely soured my initial enthusiasm. While I'm sure the TYM T224 will eventually live up to its reputation, the buying experience with Boulder Equipment has left a bitter taste. Honesty and clear communication go a long way, and in this instance, they fell short.
Hopefully, my tractor will arrive sooner than the projected timeframe. Until then, the waiting game continues, a stark reminder that sometimes the journey to getting the right tool can be far more arduous than the work itself.
